Questions

Frequently asked

How do I report a post or a person?

Open the post, or the person’s profile, and tap the “…” menu. Choose Report this post (or Report and their name), pick the reason that fits best — misleading or false, private information, abusive or hateful, unsafe or illegal, spam or advertising, or something else — add a note if it helps, and tap Send report. You need to be signed in.

Moderators review reports within 24 hours. If several people report the same post, it is hidden until a moderator has checked it. The person you report isn’t told who reported them.

No app? Contact us with the link to the post and what’s wrong with it.

How do I stop seeing someone’s posts?

Tap Block and their name in the “…” menu on their post or profile. Their posts disappear from your map, feed and profiles, and they aren’t told. To undo it, go to Me → Account and privacy and tap Unblock.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Me → Account and privacy → Delete my account and confirm. Your login, profile, posts, photos and videos, petitions, signatures and reports are deleted straight away. It can’t be undone.

If you no longer have the app, or it isn’t working, we can do it for you. Here’s how to ask.

How do I delete one of my posts?

Open the post, tap the “…” menu, then Delete post. Its photos, videos and map pin are removed for good. Anything already emailed to a council with “Take action” stays with them.

Is my email address public?

No. Your email is only used to sign in and is never shown on your profile or your posts. People see your alias. What you post — photos, location and description — is public. Read the privacy policy.

Why can’t I see a post someone shared with me?

The person who posted it may have deleted it, it may be hidden while a moderator checks a report, or you may have blocked the person who posted it.

A record won’t upload.

Large videos over a weak connection are the usual cause. Try again on wifi. If it still fails, contact us with your phone model and roughly when you tried.

How do I contact One for Nature?

Use our contact page, or email [email protected]. For anything about your account, write from the email address you signed up with so we can find it.

Still stuck?

Talk to a person.

Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and your phone model. Screenshots help.
