The app is free. Keeping it independent is not.
One for Nature takes no money from the industries it documents. That independence is the whole point, and it is paid for by people who want this to exist.
Where your money goes
There is no marketing budget and no office. Contributions cover the things that would otherwise stop the work:
- Hosting and storage for a growing archive of images and video.
- Building and maintaining the iOS and Android apps.
- Moderation, so the record stays credible.
- Getting evidence in front of journalists and decision-makers.
If you would rather give time than money, contributing records is worth just as much. Here is how that works.
