Your account

Delete your One for Nature account.

You can delete your account and your data at any time — in the app in a few taps, or by asking us if you no longer have the app.

Applies to the One for Nature app on iPhone and Android, and the web app

In the app

  1. Open One for Nature and sign in.
  2. Tap Me, then Account and privacy.
  3. Tap Delete my account.
  4. Tap Delete everything to confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This can’t be undone.

Without the app

If you have deleted the app, can’t sign in, or the in-app option doesn’t work, ask us to do it for you:

  1. Go to our contact page, or email [email protected].
  2. Say you want your One for Nature account deleted. Write from the email address you signed up with, and include your alias if you remember it.
  3. We check the request came from the account holder, delete the account and everything listed below, and email you to confirm — usually within a few days, and no later than 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your login: email address and password
  • Your profile: alias, region and profile colour
  • All your posts, with their photos, videos, locations and descriptions
  • Petitions you started, and your signatures on others
  • Reports you made, and your list of blocked people

Share links to your posts stop working at the same time.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Backups and logs. Copies can remain in our hosting provider’s backups and logs for a short time — usually no more than a few weeks — before they are overwritten. They aren’t used for anything else.
  • Moderation records. If a moderator acted on your content, a short record of that decision may be kept so the service stays fair and safe.
  • Emails you sent with “Take action”. These went from your own email to a council or agency, so they stay with them and with your email provider.
  • Anything other people had already copied or shared elsewhere is outside our control.

Only want to remove some things?

You don’t have to delete your account to remove a post: open it, tap the “…” menu, then Delete post. For anything else you would like removed or corrected, contact us.
